In Buenos Aires there are no American looking fire hydrants on the sidewalks. Instead the fire hydrants are located beneath the sidewalk or on the outside of a building. Here area few...
when i was looking into making this move, i sought out blogs of others who made the journey before me. i wanted to know how they planned, if they were nervous and how much money they spent. i didn't find too many blogs like this, so i started my own. follow me as a give up a comfortable good american life for an argentine adventure.

I think I like this sort of arrangement better than the traditional US fire hydrant.
Of course, it doesn't really seem fair to all the pet dogs in BA, does it?
